It's been a busy day. Johnny and I both spent the afternoon finishing up Christmas shopping. As Eli put it, "The boys will go in the boys car and the girls will go in the girls car." And so we did. Then we came home, stuck Eli in our room with a movie and Johnny and I wrapped separately. I was in the kitchen and he was in the formal dining room. We talked (yelled) back and forth while wrapping. Next was dinner, homemade chicken and dumplings and corn. Then we opened our presents under the tree. Eli and I sprinkled his reindeer food (oatmeal and glitter) from the edge of the driveway to the front door. The glitter is so they can see our house all the way from the sky. Next came making gingerbread man cookies so Santa won't leave hungry. Finally I went to Wal-Mart at 11:30 to finish stocking stuffers for in the morning. I am beat, but very happy. I'm very thankful for my precious family :)

Those gingerbread man cookies were tasty and I know everyone at work enjoyed them.
