Seeing my child sick is one of my least favorite things in this world. Last night Eli told Johnny that his stomach was hurting. He sent him to the bathroom and I went to check on him. He asked me to pick him up and hold him. About 10 seconds later, he threw up all over me. I had just gotten out of the shower and still had a towel on my head. So, I got to have 2 showers yesterday. Johnny, being the good daddy that he is, came and cleaned up the mess while Eli and I got cleaned up. Eli immediately said he felt better and was singing and playing in the shower. About 2 hours later, Johnny was getting him settled in our bed to watch a show, when Eli said his stomach was hurting again. And I'll be darned if he didn't throw up again, this time all over my bed. Luckily, Johnny got the comforter pulled back (I just had it cleaned last week). He also kept it from getting on the carpet. However, it did get all over my sheets and soaked through to the mattress. Again, he immediately felt better, and got to take another shower. I put baking soda all over the mattress. Johnny slept with Eli and I slept the first half of the night on the couch and the second half sideways on the foot of the bed. Eli also woke up with leg cramps and had Johnny rub his legs. Zoe woke up at 3:30, because she went to bed around 7:30. Luckily she went right back to sleep after a bottle. She's the only one who got any good sleep. Anyway, whatever it was is now gone (hopefully). He's been fine today. He was very hungry however, because all I let him have last night was a piece of bread and saltine crackers. The grape Pedialyte, disgusting by the way.
Yes, I'm into it...
